Environmental responsibility
The objective of Ixonos' environmental policy is to incorporate environment protection and the principles of sustainable development as part of the business operations and all company processes.
The direct environmental impacts of the company's operations are small. Ixonos develops and maintains software that enhances its customers' business processes, industrial production processes and communication and thus relieves the strain on the environment.
Responsibility part of daily operations
Ixonos complies with local environmental regulations, legislation and recommendations. In material procurement the company chooses recyclable and environmentally friendly products. It also strives to consume energy and materials economically. Promoting electronic communication, and reusing and recycling materials reduce the amount of waste. For example, electronic internal invoice circulation speeds up invoice handling and significantly reduces paper copies and paper waste. The company's waste treatment complies with local regulations and recommendations. The introduction of video conferencing equipment has reduced the need to travel.
